| Temple Trip |
This week was a bit odd, but also pretty awesome in a lot of ways. We
ran into a couple interesting people,- one who really didn't like
Harry Potter, one who is convinced the church will someday give women
the priesthood, and one who was mad that everyone in the Church didn't
know about 1 Corinthians 13. Luckily they were all really nice anyway.

Other fun things: we made cake pops with the Greens! They're so fun. And we had zone meeting which was amazing. And we got to go to the temple!! It took all day, but it was so awesome. I definitely needed it. We also had an awesome FHE with some ward members- the
Nordstrom's, Lori, and Beth and Cassie. It was so fun!
We also did some fun service! On Saturday we volunteered at the Troutdale SummerFest from 10-5. So it was super long, but it was so awesome! We ended up walking in their parade because they really needed someone to hold a banner, and then we helped out with the water balloon toss and the three legged race. And we ran into TONS of people that we knew, and now a lot more people recognize us- we've already
had two people comment on it and that was just yesterday evening. So it was totally worth it!
Sister Frisch and I also reached our year mark on Friday- it's crazy! It feels like there's no way it's been that long. So we had a little "birthday" picnic outside to celebrate. And we totally still had cake
pops! So it was way fun. I can't believe it's been a whole year. It made me think a lot about missionary work and how much we can't afford to waste a single minute.
There are missionaries all around the world,
all a part of the same work. Brother Seare said something at dinner yesterday- he said "the sun never sets on the temple" (since they're
all around the world) and I wanted to add that the sun never sets on missionary work! But we have so little time to labor in the Lord's vineyard full time- it goes by way too quickly. So we can't waste a
second!
I love you all! Keep being awesome!
